Hello everyone!
First of all Happy New year to all of my followers. Hope your holidays where awsome.
Today is a beautiful sunny winterday here in the Netherlands. At least in the little town where I live. There are some clouds, but it's still dry up here. So finaly my solarlamp can re-loading again.
I have used a sweet image from Alyce Keegan, she's also the owner of Kit & Clowder. Who toucht me how to color in these images. I have used my markers to color up this image. And I wanted to play a long with this weeks Color throwndown challenge. Though it's two weekly now. But that doesn't count I don't wanna play along. I had a little trouble what I should make. So I made a sweet old granny, who's reading Life of Pi? Don't know if that's a book as well.
I gave her a black skirt, white blouse & light grey hair. For her glasses I used Metallic Silver gelpen, to stay in the mood. Though I had to use skin tones and little bit of green for the grass. I used the same Metallic Silver gelpen to write down Happy Birthday on a black left over watercolor paper.
I have use clear nailpolish on the glasses, to let it shine. I have used dark grey liquid pearls as buttons of her shoes, blouse and as earrings.
