Happy Mother's day

Above you see my motherday card. I have created for my mom. I used Sweet November digital images to make this cute scene. I was inspired by Little mermaid 2 . I had to look online which color the Tailwas from Melody (Daughter of Ariel). 

Little mermaid (Melody): 

Hair: Black. Cool grey 9, 8 and 7

Hairbow: Cardinal red, Poppy red & Vivid red & Lavender dark dots

Tail: Chocolate, Warm Cacao & Tanned skin

Skin: Tanned skin, Neo pink dark, Caramel, Salmon pink & White pink skin

Big mermaid (Ariel):

Tail: Warm green, Vivid green & Yellow green

Hair: Cardinal red, Red & Poppy red

Bra: Amathyst, Lavender pink & Blue berry

Skin: Tanned skin, Neo pink, Caramel, Salmon pink and White pink skin

Birthday flowers

 Hi everyone,

Today i have a birthday card for you. I am inspired by the flowers i seen in warehouses for gardening.

I have used my markers to color this image in. I found it on Pinterest and Copyright goes to the person who drew this sweet image. 

Colors i used are:

Petals: deep magenta, fuchsia and azalea purple 

Stam flowers: vivid green, warm green and Pastel green

Branch & buds: Chocolate brown and fuchsia for the buds

Table: warm cacao, chocolate, tanned skin & Cream 

Vase: cool grey 4, 3 and 2

Rope & heart flowers: tanned skin, sand and cream and warm cacao.

Butterfly kisses & birthday wishes

 Hello everyone, 

It's been a while I have place something here. I am pretty busy at moment. And to be honest I have an art block as well. Though Now the weather is getting better here in the Netherlands again, I am inspired by the nature is given us. 

I have seen beautiful Butterflies again, so I thought I would do something with that. Butterflies are for me a sign of Spring, to behonest. And Daffodills too, to be honest. 

I have used the sweet november stamps digital image Bindi time around, but only the butterflies. I drew in a circle and colored it in with a pastel yellow marker. See this as the sun.

The left butterflies: Cream, buttercup yellow & Blender

The right butterflies: Powder pink, Salmon pink & Blender

On all butterflies I drew in a dot on their wings. I made a Happy birthday card out of it. And the sentiment is from Hannelie Bester. I also used liquid glue to glue down the rhinestones, I have chosen for Pastel orange this time around and use 6 of them. 

I re-wrote the sentiment with a black waterproof fineliner from Stabilo. Same count for the circle between the butterflies.

A sweet hello.

Hello everyone!  

I have made another card for you. This month is Fae-bruary month by Sweet november stamps. I just couldn't help myself not to use this sweetie. I used my markers from Decotime again, to color up this sweet little flower fairy. I just  cannot recall the name of this sweetie. But i was inspired by an older Colorthrowndown challenge colorcombination, from somewhere last year. I think managed it pretty well. And first time I did colored hair. I do mostly Brown or yellow hair sometimes black or grey, but didn't do it in any other color just yet. I think it will fit perfect with her navy blue dress. 

Petal flower: Pale light pink, Blush and Peach

Hair Fairy: Peacock blue, Ice blue & Verona blue

Stam and leaf flower: Dark green & Weeds green

Eyes: Verona blue

Wing: Peach, pale light pink & blender

Heart flower: Canary yellow & Dark yellow

Skin: Tanned skin, Sand, Peach 'n' cream, Salmon & White skin

Shoes: Carmine red, Coral red & Ruby red

Dress: Winter sky, Denim blue dark and Dark denim blue midi ( and white gelpen) 

Grass: Warm weeds green & Dark green

Cheek: Blush

Sentiments are from Hannelie bester aka Dester diva and I have placed them next to the sweet little fairy. For the card base I used a prefolded white carton which is 14,8 x 10,5 cm and placed the A6 size (not sure which size it is in UK and or US) here in the Netherlands. Used clear shimmer waterbrush on the wings, for a little shimmer. Just couldn't help it, not to do it.

Shopping spree.

Today I've been swimming again. But couldn't help myself to show you a sweet card I made for my moms birthday, which is next Tuesday 25th of February. 

I used Saleabation fairy from Sweet november stamps and made the sweet little fairy into a shopping street. I drew in the background with Libre office. And for the white letters I used White gelpen 08. 

And i colored her in with  my Decotime markers. 

Sale sign: Carmine red, Red and ruby red

Door: Dark green, jade green and Forest green

Street/side way: Coolgrey 3 and 2

Wall shop: Rose beige & Walnut brown bricks

Shoes and handbag: Wine red, Old red & Burgundy 

Seal handbag: Ocher yellow & Dark yellow

Skin: White skin, Warm beige, Sand and Tanned skin

Shirt and skirt: Ice blue, Peacock blue, Verona blue and Turquoise blue

Hair: Chestnut brown, Brick brown & Warm chocolate brown

Glass: Blue grey 1, Warm grey 0.5 and Blender

Thoung: Salmon pink

Sentiment is stamped with Waterproof ink and clear stampset from Temu. Which is Happy birthday all different kinds of fonts. I put light pink sequins in the ears of the sweet litttle fairy.

Happy Valentine

 Hello everyone!

Today a sweet card for you. I have created a Valentine's day card for you.

I have used the colors of the color throwdown challenge  which is brown, pink and white. 

I have used a sweet image from sweet November stamps again. Also used my markers for the first time on kraft. I usually use pencils. Though i would give my markers a shot as well. 

I printed off and colored up the image on kraft paper.

Hair: brick brown, warm cacao and rose beige

Skin: tanned skin, warm beige, peach'n' cream, blushed skin

Shirt: white gelpen and pastel pink 

Short: tender pink, pastel pink and vivid pink.

Bow and arrow: vivid pink

I could not help myself not to use some gold as a warm touch. I have used white basecard, glitter gold paper on top and on that, design paper pink brushstrokes .

I have used a strip of left over white carton and wrote down Happy in black and Valentine's day in red or dark pink. 

The sweet little cupido i glued it Down with 3d foam tape. And the sentiment i used liquid glue. 

The design paper i glued down with double sides tissuetape.

Let's go to the farm

 Hello everyone, 

Today a male birthday card for you. I have used a sweet stamp from Amanda stokes. I really adore this sweet little farmer with his goats. Later this weekend you will see a cute card with tulips on it as well. Cause today it's National Tulips day here in the Netherlands and offficial start of the tulip season. 

I have used my new markers to color up this sweet image. I also used a couple older ones from my stash. 

Hat: walnut, tanned skin & warm beige

Skin: Warm beige, white skin, salmon pink, tanned skin & Peach 'n' skin

Hair: Black, Warm grey 9 and 7

Fur both goats: Warm grey and white skin 

Brown parts fur both goats: Walnut, tanned skin and Grain

Boots: Cardinal red, Carmine red & Ruby red

Handgloves: Carmine red, Bright orange & pastel orange

Shirt: Pastel blue, Baby blue & Frost blue

Gardentrousers: Winterblue sky, Midi jeans blue & Navy blue

The grass is done with pencils I used Dark green, Oxide green & Grass green

For the card base I used cream prefolded cardbases in cream. I stamped with Memento tuxedo black the sentiment, next to the sweet little farmer, so he would look at it, together with his little friend he's holding on his arm. I also put a starpin on his hat, I thought that would be a lovely little touch. Also used liquid pearls as buttons of his rain boots. Used a white gelpen for highlights in the eyes and on their cheecks.
